Scott knows firsthand the exhaustion of moving from book to book, teacher to teacher, and practice to practice while lasting peace remained elusive. Through the nondual teachings of Advaita Vedanta and dedicated Self-inquiry, he discovered that the peace and fulfillment he sought were already present within his own Self, a recognition that now informs the clarity and devotion he shares with others.

This discovery grew from more than a decade of immersion in the Eastern wisdom traditions, with a particular devotion to the Self-Knowledge teachings of Advaita Vedanta, along with thousands of hours of Self-inquiry.

 

Scott's work is centered on making the often abstract wisdom of the Eastern teachings clear, visual, and practical for the Western mind, drawing at times on modern science to complement and illuminate these teachings.

 

He is the author of two books, Love Outpouring and The Intimacy of Being: An Interactive Guide to Self-Realization, and the creator of the transformational visual series The Direct Path to Self-Realization.

 

Scott is also one of the originators of Red Mountain Ashram in Seattle, Washington, a community led by Suresh Natarajan and rooted in the teachings of Advaita Vedanta and the Direct Path.

 

Since 2021, Scott has shared the Advaita Vedanta teachings through books, videos, private talks, and group dialogues—the same Self-knowledge that set him free.

 

Before dedicating himself to this work, Scott founded two Certified Benefit Corporations and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
